Real Ladies Go Western

The easiest pieces of ladies western wear for a woman to get started with would have to be the shirt and the belt. These shirts often have a strong cowboy look, of course. They can be solid or plaid and come in all varieties of colors. One of the current trends in ladies western wear as far as shirts go is a pinched upper waist. The front chest and collar, and often the back, have a printed or embroidered design. Lace for these areas is a popular choice with the ladies. These styled shirts are often button down and hit mid buttocks to just below the buttocks. It is not unheard of to find a shirt of this style with rhinestones and/or studs. More times than most, the shirt is collared.

Ladies western wear also consists of belts. They are often used as more of a fashion accessory and not a leather strap o hold up pants, shorts or skirts. They are often made of leather. They can be customized to almost any wish a customer has. They are often worn by ladies wearing denim pants or skirts. They are worn and held in place by the belt loops of these garments. Sometimes they are even worn by just resting on the waist. These belts can be further customized with a belt buckle. The belt buckles can be anywhere from plain to decked out in the highest quality of rhinestones, diamonds, or other precious jewels.

The next best piece of ladies western wear a lady must have is boots. Yes, those cowboy styled ones. They can come in all types of animal skin. The skins can range from alligator, cow,  and even ostrich. They can be made custom to have different types of exotic jewels, lettering and design added to them.

A true and complete outfit in the style of ladies western wear would not be complete without the classic cowboy hat. The most common and readily available form is the straw hat. Some hats even come with a charm like rope that is tied around the base of the hat. The charm can be something as simple as a leather string or a sterling silver metal chain with a heart on the front.
